The weather this week has been perfect, sunny and 75°. I was told before coming here that the weather would get cold in the winter. The people who told me this hail from California, so I have decided that they have a different definition of the word "cold." It does get chilly in the mornings and evenings, but the afternoon sun is downright hot.
Since I live in a city, there isn't much wildlife. I saw a little lizard this morning, and there are plenty of mosquitos and spiders around. That's one of the downsides to never having a good freeze.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was a gorgeous sunset over the top of Popocatépetl, the volcano close to my house. Check out the picture!
