How was the weather this week?:

The weather this week, as it is most weeks, was very hot! It usually stays around 95 degrees Fahrenheit on an average day. It’s also very humid in Malaysia, so the heat is accompanied by some moisture in the air. Basically, you step outside and start sweating!

What animals did I see this week? :

What was the coolest thing I saw in nature this week?:

The school where I go to work is situated near rice paddy fields. These are the sites where rice is being farmed and produced. The fields are beautiful and green, adding vibrant color to the landscape. However, a common practice in Malaysia is burning the fields after harvest in order to clear the land for double-cropping.
