This week I only traveled about 20 miles to Kuang Si Waterfall and maybe 10 miles up and down the Mekong River on a sunset cruise.
I traveled about 8,000 miles to get here... that's pretty far! I've also traveled a few times to the capital city of Laos, Vientiane, as well as another small town called Vang Vieng.
Every day I have to take a tuk-tuk to the university. It's about 10 miles out of town and because it's too dangerous to ride a motorcycle or bicycle on the road there, I ride in a tuk-tuk! It's like a motorcycle with a cart attached to the back.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the Lao Buffalo Dairy Farm which is located just a few miles away from Kuang Si Waterfall. I tried buffalo milk ice cream, cheese, cheesecake and a milkshake!
