Who, me?

Then I took a class in Thailand where I taught English to Burmese refugees for one month. After that class finished, I decided that I loved teaching English even more than I did before!

So finally, I decided to apply for a Fulbright grant which is where the US government pays for people to teach English in other countries. I accepted the grant and was sent to Luang Prabang! I now teach English to about 100 students each week at a university in Luang Prabang. I love my job and I love living in Laos! I have been in Laos for about five months already and will live here for about seven more months before returning home. Laos is an amazingly beautiful country filled with wonderful people and I can't wait to share it with you!

In my free time here in Laos, I play in a women's soccer league each week and I am also learning how to box, speak Lao and do caligraphy. I love to read, drink coffee and FaceTime with my friends and family as well. I can't wait to do a video chat with you and tell you more about this unique country!

Phob gon mai! (See you later!)
