I traveled only two hours by bus from Jerusalem to eastern Israel and two hours back to Jerusalem. However, I hiked over 15 miles everyday!
I have traveled thousands of miles so far and am only adding more with all of my trips around Israel. I think I have traveled over 5,000 miles!
I got to eastern Israel by bus. However, when Shabbat began, all transportation shut down. So, I had to walk everywhere.
Masada Fortress was the most interesting place I visited this week. It is high up on a mountain and overlooks both the entire Dead Sea and the country of Jordan. It is absolutely breathtaking.
The high Jewish holidays have begun, so I will be traveling around Israel to see the country and meet more people and families!
