Snow! This might seem totally normal for all of you, but living in Israel, I have not seen it yet this year. This weekend we travelled just three hours by plane to the country Romania, and there was a dramatic temperature difference. A local Romanian told us that we were lucky because we had just missed the negative 20 degree weather. Up in the mountains, the residents were wearing their ski clothing as their normal attire.
Coming home from Romania, I was excited to be back in Israel where my winter jacket stays in my closet. However, we were greeted by a storm upon our plane landing. It was scary to see lightning outside the plane window, but luckily we all landed safely!
