Introducing my best friend Ava

Plus we have a curfew - we have to return back to the dorms by 11:30pm or sleep outside.

What is your family like?:

Things in my family are a bit complicated. My parents divorced early, and then both remarried. While I stayed behind to live with my father and step-mother with their two children, my older sister left to live with my birth mother.

Although we all lived in the same town, I only reconnected with my birth mother and sister two years ago. Fun fact: due to China's one child policy, my parents pretended that we were twins, so I'm not quite clear when my real birthday is.

How do you get around?:

I walk about 15,000 steps every day and love walking from place to place. But when I have to attend my 8am class, then I get a bit lazy and just ride my bicycle to school.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I love wearing dresses and skirts even in the wintertime. But I firmly believe dresses are better than skirts because you never have to worry about choosing a top to match the skirt. I only wear pants when I have to exercise or do a P.E. test. This year, I've become a big fan of wearing green.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

In my free time, I love to watch American or British TV shows like Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, or the Big Bang Theory. Otherwise, I like to walk around with friends to random places, try new dishes and play table tennis.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

"Hello" in Chinese is 你好 (ni hao). Try saying it!
