"Hello, everyone! My name is Muhammed Thoriq Habibi, but my friends call me Thoriq. I am 16 years old and I was born in Padang, but now I live in Bukittingii. Both my parents are civil servants (so they work in the government). I go to school in MAN2 because Mr. Anto (my favorite English teacher) came to my junior high school last year and told me that this is the best place to learn English!
I used to live with my grandmother until she passed away. Afterwards, I lived with my mother in East Pasaman until I eventually came to Bukittinggi for more education.
"I usually eat my favorite food, nasi goreng, for breakfast. Nasi goreng is very simple and I can easily make it when my mom is not around. Its also very filling. For lunch, I like eating longtong with my friends at the canteen. It is a rice cake soup with gravy that is filled with lots of vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and cabbage. Sometimes it has slices of chili. I don't usually eat dinner, but if I do, I usually eat instant fried noodles (mie goreng). Instant noodles don't make the healthiest meal, but it tastes so good, and it's very easy to make. My friends always love to say that I am officially 50% made out of instant noodles.
