A Bit About Me

I am in Wuhan, China teaching English at Wuhan University of Technology as a Princeton in Asia Fellow. Through this position, I get to make cross-cultural connections, which means that through talking with local people, I am able to learn about China through their eyes and they are able to learn about America through mine. I’ve already learned that Wuhan has around 35 universities and is considered an educational city. These moments are my favorite because you find that even though you are from what seem like different worlds, we are all people seeking to learn. This is why I so badly wanted to be a Reach the World traveler. I hope to show you that no matter how far you may physically be from a location, you can still connect with people through sharing and swapping of ideas and stories. I have been lucky enough to travel and study in a few different countries during my educational and professional career, and if you make a bit of your own luck (through working hard or course), I believe you might be the next jet-setter in our midst!
