Traveler Bio

Annyeonghaseyo yeorobun! Hello everyone! My name is Rejoice Potja. I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a Communications major at the University of Utah, where I study how people interact with media. I am also a Korean Language and Culture Studies minor, where I get to learn about the history and culture of Korea.

In the Spring of 2021, I had the wonderful opportunity to study in Korea during my freshman year of college. I loved it so much that I decided to do it again. That experience opened my eyes to a whole new way of viewing the world. Before that, I never left the country or flown on a plane.

I am now studying at the University of Utah (Asia Campus) as a Gilman Scholar. I enjoy creating art in many forms. I love all kinds of music from all over the world and love giving recommendations. I am excited to share my journey and learn more about Korea with you all!
