One of the aspects of Santiago that I love the most is that there are three or four large, beautiful, green parks within the city, open every day to everyone. When the weather is nice, or at least reasonable, I try to walk or run through one of the parks. The central park, El Parque de la Alumeda, in addition to being beautiful in and of itself, offers a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding city of Santiago. Taking in this view is one of my favorite pasttimes here in the city.
This coming week promises to hold much of the same as far as weather is concerned, with my forecast currently predicting one day of sun and six days of rain. Better to be prepared and have my paraguas (umbrella) pwith me at all times!
