I am very thankful because my school let me travel all the way to Ho Chi Minh City. I arrived back home in Lang Son on Tuesday night. Ho Chi Minh City is 1163 miles away from Lang Son. It would take 334 hours to walk there!
On this journey, I have mostly traveled in the north. I have been to Hanoi, (the capital of Vietnam), Sa Pa (a popular place for tourists) and Ho Chi Minh City (the biggest city in Vietnam). That is a lot of miles on top of the 8000 miles I flew in order to reach Vietnam from Minnesota!
This week, I traveled with my bicycle in Lang Son. In Ho Chi Minh City, I traveled on a motorbike. Motorbikes are very popular in Vietnam.
The most interesting place that I visited in Vietnam this week was Ho Chi Minh City. Lang Son is very quiet and peaceful. Ho Chi Minh City is loud and filled with people from all over the world.
