This week I listened to a few of my favorite bands. I listened to a band called The Killers, and Green Day. Usually, I like to listen to hip-hop and rap.
The most fun activity I did this week was one I organized during my second-year English class. I asked students to think about what their life would be like one year, 10 years and 50 years from now. It turns out many students want to graduate college and buy a house.
I love to learn about history. This week I read a biography about Bobby Kennedy. He was President John F. Kennedy's younger brother and he had an interesting life. When I am not reading history books, I like to read mystery books.
This week I had a chance to watch people play a few of Vietnam's most popular sports. Many people love to play soccer and badminton if the weather is nice outside. Another popular game is ping-pong. Often, I can hear my neighbors playing that game.
The government in Lang Son is busy building new roads and new stores. I know that there are at least three new cafes near my house. It is amazing to think about how much Lang Son has changed since I first arrived.
