What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Sang Hyun mentioned many popular names. Jiwoo, Yujin, Jiwon, Seyoung and Yejin are common girls names, while Minjae, Jaewoo, Jaemin, Junho, Chulsoo and Mingook are common boy names.  

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

Just like American students, Korean students are required to learn a range of subjects. Sang Hyun is currently taking chemistry, biology, geology, physics, Korean literature, English, art, music, physical education and mathematics. 

What is your homework like?:

This is where there is a big difference between the American and South Korean education systems. Instead of homework, classes focus on pop quizzes, midterms and finals. As I previously mentioned, school days in South Korea are typically 16 hours long. Although students like Sang Hyun do not have homework, they have a lot of studying to do. 

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

After school, Sang Hyun loves to play soccer. He also enjoys listening to music.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

His favorite celebrity is Eminem, an American rapper, songwriter and record producer. 

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

Sang Hyun is another example of why music has no language barrier.
