Autobiography

I also was on the color guard, which means that I danced and performed with a six-foot flag. It sounds weird, but joining that team was one of the best decisions that I ever made.

After high school, I decided to stay close to home and start school at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). While there, I studied Biology and Psychology. So if you have any questions about how your body or brain works, I'm your girl! I loved going to school in Chicago and continued to stay involved in student council. It was in college where I discovered the field of legal psychology, which brings me to where I am now.

After graduating from UIC, I decided that I wanted to learn even more about the incredible way in which psychology predicts so much of our behavior. So, I packed up my two suitcases (both overweight) and moved across the world to the Netherlands. Fun fact: I had never been ANYWHERE in Europe before I moved abroad. I didn't get a chance to study abroad while I was at UIC, so the master's program that I'm doing right now is my very first study abroad experience.

Well, that's all from me for now. I will be sharing much more about the Netherlands and all the cool things about this wonderful country in the upcoming weeks!
