Hi! My name is Joseph Lin but I usually just go by "Joe"; it's great meeting you! I suppose there's a lot I could write to describe who I am, but I try my best to keep this somewhat short. In the most basic terms, I'm a Taiwanese-born American, raised in Northern California, who is studying Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
As you might have read from my profile, I'm currently studying abroad in Stockholm, Sweden. I chose to attend KTH Royal Institute of Technology, my university here, as it is well-known for their academic excellence in the field of Engineering. I am interested in potentially pursuing either prosthetic design, public transportation technology, or renewable/sustainable energy technology. I also really love experiencing new things, so the prospect of traveling and living in a different country and environment was an opportunity too good to pass up.
I am always so fascinated while learning about my own culture and the richness that is found in diversity. Although I've been to many countries in Asia, I have never before visited Europe. Because of this, I am more than thrilled to be living in Sweden!
