With this knowledge, I hope to create a better relationship between the environment and our society. Luckily, many of my geography studies take my classmates and me on field trips where we get to be active and experience the world firsthand. To best understand geography, you have to go out into the world. So to enrich my learning about tropical environments, I wanted to study abroad. Now I am in Thailand, part of the beautiful Southeast Asian region. In the rural parts of the country the nature is beautiful, but there are also areas that are much more urban than I have ever experienced prior to this experience. I love the culture here, too. When not in class, I am happy exploring Thailand and enjoying the warm weather! I look forward to sharing my experiences with you during my time here.
