The weather was beautiful during my time in Portugal. The sun was shining and the sea breeze made everything very pleasant.
Since Lisbon is a coastal city, I got to see several types of fish and different types of sea creatures. Lisbon has a huge Oceanarium, another word for an aquarium, that has been voted the best aquarium in the world! You can see animals like otters, sharks, stingrays and many more. There are over 8,000 animals!
I loved having the chance to see the sea and experience the ocean during the winter.
This week during my trip to Portugal I learned that Portugal does not have a winter per se but rather during the "winter months" it rains a lot.
