I have always been a curious kid and I’m always asking questions. So, it wasn’t surprising that I loved my biology labs. Therefore, I decided to work on a research training project in the summer. I found an opportunity at the University of Puerto Rico, so I studied there for 2 months. That was an amazing experience. I loved the people and especially the food there. This confirmed my love for travel, so I started thinking of ways to incorporate traveling into my academic goals and objectives.
After my summer in Puerto Rico, I looked for opportunities to travel again for research. Therefore, I applied for a research project in Uganda as a Fulbright Student researcher, hence my stay here.
I am so excited to be here and hope to share many stories and adventures with you.
