Outside Cookin'

One day I went to the back of my homestay, and I saw my host sister making a fish stew. Every part of the fish is used. They just cut it into big chunks and cook away!

This is an example of fufu. Another way to eat it is to put the cassava dough on the bottom of the bowl and scoop up the dough with a spoon. This was a spicy dinner.

My host sister was outside making a fish stew for lunch. To keep the coal hot and burning, she fans the coal while the stew cooks.
