I was very lucky to meet Lara and Ángel on my very first day at my university in Spain. They are my age, but they are students at the university. We spend time together almost every week, and I feel so lucky to get to learn more Spanish and about Spanish culture through them. Read more about them here!
Lara Bermejo and Ángel Diaz
Lara: I live in an apartment with my parents in the northernmost part of Madrid. It takes me about 30 minutes to get to the city center by metro, but I like living at home because I get to be with my dog (Balu) and my cat (Olivia). My aunt and grandmother live in the piso (apartment) next to mine.
Ángel: I live in Madrid's city center with my older brother. I actually live only two minutes away from Delaney—we are practically neighbors!
Lara: My father is a pilot and my sister is a flight attendant, so they are always traveling! I love my family a lot.
Ángel: My family lives in Toledo, an ancient city an hour away from Madrid and where I was born. I am very close with my family, and we love going camping and doing outdoor activities on our family land. My grandmother raises her own chickens on our farm!
