As I’ve reflected on this, I realize that no one likes to remember an ugly past, where they are forced to be different by new people that they do not know. Yet, the most beautiful part of it all is past is never going to happen to them again since they have decided to focus only on the good. I hope that Ecuador can teach you what it is teaching me, to always set your mind on the bright future that lies ahead of you. Even if everything suddenly changes for you in one day, like it did for Ecuador when they were conquered by the Spanish, you should keep fighting to see the positive changes you want for your life.
