I traveled to Seogwipo, which is on the southern part of the island. To get to Seogwipo, I had to ride a bus one hour and twenty minutes. The bus ride is around 17 miles.
I have not traveled outside of South Korea, but I have traveled throughout South Korea a lot! I have been to Seoul, the largest city in the country, two times. I went to see my friends and go to a League of Legends video game tournament. I have also visited Busan, which is the second largest city in South Korea! Both places were very crowded but it was nice to be in a large city again, since I missed Chicago. Next week, I will go to the coastal town of Mokpo in southwestern South Korea. Since it is over 6,700 miles just from Chicago to Jeju Island, I have probably traveled close to 8,000 miles total on my journey so far.
Whenever it was not raining, I rode my bike to and from school. If I wanted to get groceries or see my friends, I rode the bus or walked to them. I use a lot of public transportation on Jeju Island.
