In South Korea, it's common for no one to have their own plate. Instead, you just share and eat out of the dishes on the table!
I went to a concert this week and listened to a reggae band! Since I am on an island, reggae music is popular. At this same concert, they sang Ed Sheeran and Adele. I also went to a festival this weekend where there was traditional Korean music played.
I went to a Fire Festival on Jeju Island, and that was the most fun! Once a year, Jeju Island has a festival devoted to fire. During this festival, they take appropriate precautions to keep everyone save and set a massive hill on fire. This is a tradition that goes back hundreds of years, and it is meant to give good luck for the harvest season that is coming. I saw people juggling fire, performing traditional Korean dances, playing modern and traditional music and singing. The festival was very crowded, because many people come from the mainland of South Korea. Before they set the hill on fire, there was more music and fireworks!
I read the news every morning, and I have been reading a fantasy book called "Inheritance."
I played PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Overwatch with my students this week after school. They're both multiplayer online games that are very popular with all of my students. I also played soccer at recess with my students!
