We have talked a lot over the past few weeks about what life is like in Dublin for me as an exchange student. To understand the typical life of a Dubliner, I met with someone who was born and raised here!
This week, I met Paul O'Reilly, Director of eFX Corporate Solutions at Citi in Dublin. Citi is a large financial institution with offices all around the world! Paul works with foreign currency (different types of money) at Citi, so he needs to know a lot about other countries and cultures. Through Reach the World's Citi Local Host program, I was able to meet Paul at his office in Dublin for a wonderful conversation about global careers, working in Ireland, and everyday life in and around Dublin. Here's what he shared!
My name is Paul O'Reilly.
I live in Dublin, Ireland, and while I was born here, I did live in London, England for several years. My house is full of toys from my three-year-old son, who is crazy about animals and dinosaurs.
My family is awesome! In addition to my three-year-old, I also have a six-year-old daughter. Both of my children were born in London, but we moved back to Dublin as we wanted them to go to school here and also wanted them to be closer to their grandparents.
