Guten Tag! Hello!
I’m Ariana, and I am so excited to share my stories and adventures in Austria with you! Austria is a country on the continent of Europe. The people in Austria speak German. You will learn more about Austria and Europe in my future journals, but first I think it is important that you know a little bit about me. My favorite things in the world are my friends, learning new things, being curious, cooking, eating delicious foods, exploring nature and being active.
First, I’ll tell you why I love nature and going on adventures. When I was growing up I moved lots of times. Sometimes it was really hard to move so much, but I got to meet a lot of new people and see many new places. I've lived in 11 different states! They are Georgia, South Carolina, Colorado, Washington, Illinois, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., California and North Carolina. It was such an adventure to live in so many different places while I was growing up! Since I moved so much, my first best friend was my younger brother, Andrew. We liked to play pretend with our toys, go rollerblading, play soccer and play Nintendo. We especially liked Mario Kart!
Since then I have made lots of new friends while doing some of my favorite things. During my first year in college, I met my good friends Lisa, Alex, Rachel and Carolyn.
