I have a group of international and Japanese students that meets once a week to play board games and card games. This week, we played Dobble, a game where we find matching images on cards; Exploding Kittens, a funny game where you try not to explode; and Monopoly Deal, a card-game version of Monopoly.
I climbed up a mountain to view sunrise on January 1, but then got lost on the way down. I was completely lost in the woods and hills, and could not figure out how to get out! Luckily, there was a friend with me, I had Google Maps, and some of the trees had markers that kind of indicated the way. After an hour of wandering around, we finally found the right path. This illustrates the importance of being extra careful when traveling because had we not been able to get back to the path, I am not sure if my Japanese would have been good enough to call the police and ask for help!
