Traveler Bio

Sziasztok! (Hello). My name is Soren Fuchs. I live and work in Budapest, Hungary in Eastern Central Europe. I am taking classes in Hungarian language (which is very difficult), business, Hungarian literature, and Hungarian history. I am studying at the Corvinus University of Budapest.

I am 21 years old and I am from Denver, Colorado. I grew up in the city but my heart is with the mountains. I love to ski, camp, hike and backpack! In the US, I go the University of Colorado. I have two younger brothers, Brede and Stian, who both have moved to San Francisco for college.

In my free time, I enjoy walking around or taking transportation to discover new parts of cities. The best way to learn about a city is to get a little bit lost! My interest in travel started my first year after high school. I decided to do a foreign exchange in Lima, Peru (South America). My interest in seeing other parts of the world has not faded. One thing that may surprise you is that I love airports and airplanes. My excitement when arriving at an airport is like you arriving at your favorite ice cream shop!

I decided to study abroad in Budapest, Hungary because I wanted to go somewhere unique. I wanted to become immersed into a new culture and I thought that Hungary would be a great place to explore.
