¡Un gusto conocerles! - Mi Autobiografía

Since I was bitten by the travel bug in 2016, I have been fortunate to visit 20 countries and meet lots of new friends around the world! This would not have been possible without the support of my University's generous scholarship programs. If you think you want to study abroad, I'd highly encourage you to do so and to check out your future school's funding opportunities---many have very generous and often underutilized options!

I have currently been working in Ecuador for the last seven months and will be here until mid-June. I am excited to share with you about my life teaching English at a university and two rural primary schools in the central part of the country, where the green Andes Mountains are visible in every direction! I have met some wonderful friends and coworkers here, and in my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga at a local studio, attending soccer games and traveling to new cities. The city where I am living, Riobamba, is also surrounded by four massive volcanoes, including the enormous Chimborazo Volcano, which (considering the equatorial bulge and its elevation) is the closest place on Planet Earth to the sun!

I am so excited to get to know you all during these next few weeks! Muchas gracias por darme la oportunidad de concerles y compartir sobre mis experiencias en Ecuador. ¡Que tengan un día excelente!
