Traveler Bio

Përshëndetje! Si jeni? Hello! How are you? My name is Isabel. I was born in Chicago, Illinois and lived in Oak Park through high school. Growing up, my parents took my brother and me on more unconventional vacations, which is where I’m pretty sure my love of travel started. Although, when I was rocking on a tiny fishing boat in Panama on our way to an island in the dark, I never thought that travel was something I would continue to pursue!

The first of many adventures was moving west for college. I went to the University of Puget Sound to study politics and economics, and also to play Division III lacrosse! In between late nights at the library and practices in the rain, I found some time to study abroad in Belgrade, Serbia. I loved the Balkans and knew I would return. After college, I moved to South Korea for a year to teach English.

However, the most important thing you need to know about me is that I love eggs. I love making eggs, eating eggs, and pictures of eggs. This time around, I’ll be eating eggs in Peja, Kosovo, where I’ll also be teaching English at a university. I’m lucky to have seen this much of the world already, and I can’t wait to share this part of it with all of you. Until we talk again, eat an egg for me!
