Hello! My name is Dustin Liu, but many of my friends call me Dusty. I am originally from Long Island, New York, and I am so excited to have you be a part of my journey to Malaysia! From a young age, I have been interested in how educational opportunities can help change lives. This led me to study industrial and labor relations with a focus on how people work together at Cornell University. During my time in college, I became involved in shared governance and community engagement organizations. The experiences surfaced many questions I had about how education could play a role in creating the leaders of tomorrow.
I am currently a graduate student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I'll be taking a leave of absence in 2020 to embark on my U.S. Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Malaysia. I'm looking forward to sharing my adventures in Malaysia with you!
