Traveler Bio

Marhaba! Hello! My name is Diana Pacheco. I grew up in Oakland, California, however, now I go to Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. My family is small but loud. We all like to watch movies together! My hobbies include indoor cycling and exploring the outdoors. I like finding new adventures, which is one of the things that influenced me to stay a month after my study abroad to explore more of the world.

I have been able to study abroad in Morocco because I am in learning more about the culture behind the language that I'm learning. I have a deep love of learning new languages. I am fluent in Spanish with basic knowledge in French and now Arabic. I was also very fortunate to receive the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which has helped me make this study abroad opportunity to Morocco possible.

I will be traveling throughout Morocco, from Marrakesh to Fez and Agadir, and along the way, we'll explore this magnificent culture together. I can't wait to share my journey with you!
