Traveler Bio

Cześć! That means "hello" in Polish! My name is Caitlin Mello and I grew up in a small town outside of Boston, Massachusetts. It was a great place to grow up with a lot of historical and interesting spots to visit, like the Museum of Science and the duck boats that take people on a tour of the city both on the roads and in the river. During college I moved to Vermont, where I learned how much I love to hike up their many scenic mountains. I also enjoy practicing my trombone and reading history books in my free time.

I received my degree in social work after three years. My favorite part of social work is that I get to help people when they are having a hard time. I even got to talk to the politicians in Vermont about the best ways to help the people living in the state! Since I finished my degree in only three years, I never had the chance to travel abroad during college. I looked for opportunities to travel, and the Fulbright Program really stood out. When I was offered a teaching position in Poland, I could not wait to get started! Hopefully by sharing my own travel experiences, I can inspire all of you to explore the world as well!
