Traveler Bio

Hola amigos! Hi friends! My name is Ana Cecilia Gurdian Albir, but you can simply call me Ana. If you are wondering why I have a really long name, it is because in Hispanic culture we use both of our last names as well as first and middle names to introduce ourselves. I was born and raised in Managua, Nicaragua, a Central American country known as "The Country of Lakes and Volcanoes". Two years ago, when I was 18 years old, I moved from Managua to Atlanta, Georgia to study industrial and systems engineering at Georgia Tech ("Go Jackets!"). Within the university, I was presented with the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain, so I decided to take my journey away from home to the next level. Now I am running around Madrid (since that is one of my favorite hobbies) and trying all different kind of foods (like calamari, paella and bocadillos). I plan on trying to do the most I can and travel to all the places possible, so I am very excited to share my experience with you!
