The Daily Life of a University Student in Budapest

Introduction:

For my post this week, I am interviewing my friend Adam. He is a university student from Hungary at the same university I attend, Corvinus University. He is studying computer information systems and enjoys coding and hanging out with friends! He speaks very good English and a little bit of German.

What is your full name?:

Adam Engert.

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

I live in an apartment in the city with two other people. They are my friends from secondary school. We have a basic apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. We all get our own rooms.

What is your family like?:

My family is pretty normal. I am an only child, and my parents are divorced. They divorced when I was younger. My father is a doctor, and my mother is a school teacher.

How do you get around?:

I get around by public transportation. If I am going back to my hometown to visit my parents, I take a two-hour train ride. My parents live in Szombathely, which is near the border of Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, and Slovakia.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I wear warm clothing. In Hungary, we do not wear shorts and t-shirts very often. I enjoy wearing a heavy jacket and a scarf when I go out.
