Hello everyone! In Colombia, saying "hello" and "goodbye" are very important, so I wouldn’t want to leave without saying saludando all of you guys! I hope that you learned some new things about Colombia, and that you were able to have a small taste of the beauty and warmth that this country has to offer. As my time with Reach the World has come to an end, I wanted to express how happy I am to have had the opportunity to share my experiences with all of you! Through writing and sharing with your class, I have been able to think about my experiences in a different way and be more present in my activities during these past few months.

What’s next? I have about four more months left here with the Fulbright Colombia program. However, the thought of leaving already makes me emotional. I love my life in Manizales and the friends I've made. I don’t think I’m ready to leave. This is why I’ll be applying for a second year with my program.  That said, the future is a mystery and nothing is guaranteed. I'm going to try to make the most of these next four months, and I'd like to share with you how I plan to do that!

  1. Travel: With the clock ticking down on my time in Colombia, travel will be very important.
