These conversations have shown me that there are many ways of viewing religion and spirituality. These conversations have also shown me the power of bridging different perspectives. I have learned that prejudices often stem from a lack of exposure to different backgrounds and not considering other perspectives, rather than a desire to hurtful or malicious.
You don’t have to move all the way across the world encounter different perspectives; each and every one of us has our own unique one. I hope to take what I have learned here in Spain back with me to the United States. I hope to view every person that I meet throughout my life as a teacher who can show me their own unique perspective.
