I was very fortunate to have been able to travel for not just a week like we usually get for vacations, but rather for two straight months! It was like having a summer in the middle of the winter! Here's what you may call a "greatest hits," of the past few months. Will your jaw drop as many times as mine?! Let's see!

Last we spoke, I was finishing up my December tour of the Caribbean coast in Colombia, which was an incredible month. First, I was in La Guajira, the tip of Colombia and Venezuela where the desert meets the sea. I stayed there for about a week and couldn't believe my eyes. The landscapes were straight out of a Salvador Dali painting! Next, I visited Mompox, a magical, colonial town where a famous Colombian writer, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, or Gabo (that was his nickname), was inspired to write some of his most famous stories. Then, I spent about a week just hiking the Sierra Nevadas! During this incredible hike, we passed through Ciudad Perdida (the Lost City), an ancient city lost for decades to the jungle. That's right, no one knew it existed! Finally, I visited Providencia, a gorgeous Caribbean island actually closer to Nicaragua, with a good friend of mine from New York. The clear blue water stretched as far as the eye could see.
