Reach the World (RTW) publishes dozens of travelers' content from around the world every week with the help of a dedicated corps of volunteers.
Educators!
All of the content on the RTW website is free. Subscribers to RTW receive a username and password that allow them direct access to a world traveler, including the opportunity to customize their traveler's content, schedule videoconference calls, participate in a GeoGames training and receive an in-person visit from their traveler. New York City schools receive extra support in the classroom via our classroom intern program. Volunteering with RTW as a classroom intern provides a substantive, engaging opportunity to integrate global competence programming into the curriculum of under-served public elementary and middle school classrooms. As a classroom intern, you will be trained by RTW to be a global educator in a public school one day a week for 12 weeks. Classroom interns receive a $500 honorarium for their volunteer service and are hired on a semester basis. Apply online today to be a classroom intern! Preference is given to graduate students enrolled in education programs.
