I'm Rebecca, but most people call me Becca! I'm from Wisconsin in the United States. I've lived in Wisconsin with my mom, dad, sister and twin brother since I was born until I moved away to college. I went to a college in the Chicago suburbs where I studied to be a teacher and studied Spanish.
During my time in college, I was able to study abroad a few times: once to Europe for a month, once to Costa Rica for a month and once to Ecuador for five months. These study abroad trips are what inspired me to go abroad again, after college! Therefore, I applied to be an English teaching assistant in Argentina and I am so gratefully I was accepted!
While in Argentina, I will be staying in the Province called La Pampa and in its capital city, Santa Rosa. I will be living there and assisting in teaching English at the local University there.
I can't tell you enough how much I look forward to sharing about all my journeys, adventures, stories and life lessons that I learn and have throughout my time in Argentina. ¡Nos vemos allá! See you there!
