Hello exchange partners! I am RaeLani Mathias and I will be corresponding with you over the next few months.
I have moved houses over 15 times and experienced many different communities and people. Because my family moved a lot, I was homeschooled and most of my homework had me searching online for information. My interest in different people and cultures eventually led me to Japanese animation, Korean series, Chinese movies and Russian dramas. I soon fell in love with the sound and rhythm of the Japanese language.
I have used digital media to expand my knowledge and interests of the world around me. I have never tried to learn the Korean language, yet I can understand quite a bit because of watching Korean films and series. By watching these films and series, I not only learn about the language, but also the culture, customs and life.
Digital exchanges are so powerful!
