Summer Festival

These women on the left are going to help us put on our yukatas, which can be seen hanging in the background
I got a green and gold yukata with a yellow obi (belt)
My friend is getting her obi (belt) tied in a traditional bow
The yukata is a single piece of cloth that has sleeves and is wrapped around the body and secured with an obi
Here, two of the women are deciding on a bow that best fits the yukata
Many of us forgot to put our hair up, so we all helped each other pin our hair so that it wasn't touching the yukata
This is one of the few times that people wear yukatas and it's often a special time for family and friends
A large group of students from the international dorm went to get yukatas together and support the local festival
