Galicia and the Challenges It Faces

In 1965, in the U.S., 42.4% of the population smoked, with a decrease today to only 14%. Propaganda against smoking and government regulations have made an impact in our society. Galician people are aware of the risks of smoking and initiatives to control tobacco use are in the works. Changes in the behavior of Galician people are bound to change for the better.
