It’s quite a coincidence that this is my last week submitting an article, since it is also my last week of classes here at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu, China. It’s bittersweet for me to say farewell, because I’ve incorporated writing articles into my weekly routine - but as they say, as one door closes, another one opens. And I must say, that I’m ready to kick the next door off its hinges!

I’ve already purchased tickets for travel to Tibet, Chongqing, Beijing, and Guangzhou here in China before leaving for Seoul, Korea in August. I will return back to New York City in the middle of August. As much as I’d love to take you all along on my adventures, I’m going to give you a piece of advice instead; yes, it’s really cool and interesting (I hope!) to read about someone else’s adventures or to watch the Travel Network on TV, but NOTHING will come close to experiencing it on your own. So take this as my invitation to you to grab the first opportunity that you can to see the world. You’re only young once.

I remember, when I decided to take on this project, thinking to myself that I’d love to be able to raise one person’s curiosity about traveling. I don’t know how successful I’ve been in doing so, but I know I would have regretted it if I had decided not to do this.
