Traveler Bio

你好, Nǐ hǎo (Hello)! My name is Megan Prangley, but you can call me Meg for short. I am 21 years old. Growing up, I lived in South Carolina, Indiana and Florida. Currently, I am completing my undergraduate studies in International Studies, Chinese and Spanish at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.

For the past seven years, I participated in development work in Costa Rica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the United States. After completing an internship in Costa Rica following my freshman year of college, I acquired fluency in Spanish. As I prepare to finish my degrees in International Studies and Chinese in Zhuhai, China, I hope to acquire fluency in Chinese.

I am passionate about learning foreign languages because this skill increases my connectivity with people around the world. I am excited to go to China to learn the language, understand the culture firsthand and meet new people. I am eager to share my journey with you! Let's go!
