Now, I still like to be active and go for a run with my roommates or hike in the countryside. The weather is nice and sunny here, and just last weekend we were able to go to the beach - even in March!
One of my favorite parts of Portugal is the food. Lisbon is known for its great seafood because we are close to the ocean, and I also enjoy the fresh vegetable soups that go with every meal. There is a fruit and vegetable stand on nearly every corner here. This year, I tried new fruits and vegetables that I had never seen before, like persimmons and yacon root!
I can’t wait to tell you all about my adventures here in Portugal - both big and small! From navigating my way around the city, to taking day trips to other cities in the country, there is always something exciting here. I am looking forward to meeting you soon!
