Wow! Has it already been six weeks? It feels as though I arrived in Kosovo just yesterday... and I had already been here for three months when I started writing to you! Our program is ending, and before you know it, I'll be back in the United States, maybe in West Virginia, maybe in Wyoming. It's difficult to say, but If I'm ever in Kentucky, I'll be sure to stop by and say hello.

I hope this experience has been as exciting for you as it has for me, and I hope that you're leaving it feeling a little bit more connected to the global community than you did when we first started. I sure do.

I wish the absolute best for all of you going forward. If there's one thing I hope you'll take away from this journey, it's that life is a lot more fun when you learn to be excited by the unfamiliar instead of being afraid of it. Seek out opportunities to learn more about cultures that differ from your own. There are lots of wonderful scholarship programs, fellowships and grants that make traveling abroad possible for everyone, and I hope that you'll consider applying to them in the future.

Wherever you go, stay connected to home and take pride in your roots. The interest people have in learning about your hometown might just surprise you!

Adventure on!
