I am approaching my last few days in Hong Kong, and I can't help but look at the bucket list I have compiled and feel a bit sad about the things I haven't yet done. I feel as though I keep finding new things to add to the list! There just seems to be an unlimited number of adventures and journeys I want to take part in. From hikes to surrounding villages to visiting some of the coolest art galleries I have ever seen, studying abroad in Hong Kong has been one of the greatest decisions I have made in my time in college.

I originally decided to go to Hong Kong because I wanted to get in touch with my roots. It is cliché, but as someone who grew up in New York, I felt as though this was a part of my identity that I wanted to explore more. For me, there's a longing to know more about what it means to be someone that is Chinese and rediscover the culture that my family came from. To be quite honest, I don't think I have completely discovered this for myself and I have come to accept that it is okay.

Eating with my boss' coworkers at my internship, we talk a lot about all sorts of topics from movies to music to weekend plans. I always find it odd that they find my hobbies and interests to be quite different from theirs.
