How We Travel
Wanderlust wouldn't get very far if we didn't know where we were going. This is why we have a navigation station. It's like an office on the boat. The navigation station has a big table where all of the charts are kept. We use these charts to make sure we don't get lost or run into things.
We can use the electronic devices in the navigation station to communicate with other boats and people. One of the devices we use is called the VHF radio. Another is called the "single side band" (or SSB) radio. Maybe you have heard of a ham radio. The SSB is just like that. Being in the navigation station is fun. At the touch of a button, we can get any information that we want.
