This week Aldebaran sailed from Israel to Turkey. At the end of our trip, the water was very rough. The wind was strong. Big waves pushed against Aldebaran. Aaron and I decided it wasn't safe to be out sailing. In the middle of the night, we changed our plans. We headed to the closest port in Turkey.

Aldebaran pulled into the small town of Finike the next morning. I was very surprised to see a lot of big mountains. They looked like they rose straight out of the water. I hadn't realized there were mountains this large in Turkey.

"I don't know much about Turkey. I haven't read our guide book yet," I said.

"That's okay, I have!" said Jake. "I know a cool adventure we can go on."

"Where will we go?" I asked.

"Let's go up into the mountains," Jake said. "I read about an ancient city near Finike. We can check it out!"

"Okay, that sounds like fun!" I said.
